Luigi Colani cutlery

                           This two-piece cutlery set was designed by Professor Luigi Colani for
                           in-flight catering use or as disposable party ware. The handles have a flat
                           rounded end that is ergonomically designed to fit into the palm of the hand.
                           The knife section of the set clips into the centre of the combined
                           fork/spoon. The clever design means that the pieces are torsionally stiff
                           despite being highly economic in the use of plastic. The cutlery was
                           designed at the end of the 1970’s, but did not go into commercial
                           production.
