Carl Aubock biographies »»»
The WERKSTÄTTE CARL AUBÖCK was founded in the 19th century among many other workshops in the 7th district of Vienna spezializing in
bronce-casting.
Carl Auböck (1900 -1957) was one of the very few Viennese students attending the Bauhaus in Weimar in the twenties after World War I.
When he returned he reorganized the WERKSTÄTTE (workshop) -line in the spirit of his Bauhaus experiences.
His son Carl Auböck (1924 -1993) and his grandson -also- Carl Auböck (born1954) carried on with the development of the WERKSTÄTTE which today remains as the last one in ist own tradition. |
